About TJ

Being able to drive manual cars is becoming a lost art. I am someone who loves driving immensely, and I want to share that with as many people as I can. It’s a way to be one with the car, to soak in the driving experience. To have fun while doing something that can feel mundane. There’s something special about manual cars, and I want to create opportunities where people can find their love of driving too.

One of my goals is to not just teach how to physically operate the car, but how to be comfortable and confident in driving ability. I want people to feel comfortable behind the wheel, and I want to take learning at an individual's pace, rather than trying to force it. A comfortable driver is a safe one, an anxious one makes mistakes.

  • No. The lessons we offer are more of a “tutoring” service, and we cannot help you get any type of certification, including a driver’s license.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email.

  • We factor in the cost of maintaining a car that’s being used as a teaching car, and the instructor’s time. The clutch is under a lot of stress, the transmission is under a lot of stress, and then there’s the normal things like fuel, oil changes, and the occasional part or sensor going out.
